I've finally cracked

I've had the following converstation many a time before

  • A.N.Other: Should I get a Blackberry Clare?
  • Me: No idea, haven't got one!
  • A.N.Other: Really, I thought you must have. Oh but you're creative, you'll have an iPhone.
  • Me: Wrong again.

Stunned silence!

And it's true. For ages I was more than happy with a "standard" phone. In recent years I've had a Motorola that I loved (clam-shell flippy thing, very Star Trek!) and then a Nokia that was absolutely fabulous. The orginal Blackberrys and the iPhone were/are just to big for me. I like small phones I can easily put in my pocket. Also when the Blackberrys first came out the data charges were ridiculous for a small business like mine and iPhones don't support Flash (why Apple, why Apple?)

But now I have a Blackberry. It's one of the Curves and it is the perfect size. True it's bigger than my Nokia but it still fits nicely in my hand and in my pocket.

But if I hadn't been due for a upgrade, I wouldn't have made the switch. I know some people constantly change their phone but I don't see the point of that. My Nokia was fab...is fab and I am quite sad to change. Well not so sad that I'm tears but it was a good phone and had some features that I wish my Blackberry had.

On the other hand my Blackberry is purple and it's the only nice purple phone I've ever found! Yes that's very girly of me and I wouldn't normally judge tech on its colour but really, there is just too much black out there and all the pink phones are fine if you under the age of 13!
